Beasts of War - The Preorder Campaign!
Hello there!
This newsletter is a seasonal one, which means I typically only post four times a year. But occasionally I get some big news I want to share here first, so without further ado: an announcement I’ll be sharing publicly in just a short while!
There is a Beasts of War preorder campaign!
Those who preorder a copy of BOW by January 15th will receive a signed bookplate AND exclusive art of Koffi and Ekon, commissioned by the lovely Nicole Deal. I was so pleased with this gorgeous art and though I’m bittersweet about leaving this world (for now), I’m incredibly proud of these characters and this story!
Some FAQs
Q: When does the preorder campaign end? The offer runs right up to on-sale, the last day of entry being midnight the day prior January 15, 2024.
Q: Can I enter if I don’t live in the U.S.? Sadly, no and that is due to the varying legal rules of each country. I will be brainstorming on doing some special things for readers outside the US!
Q: What do I upload? Screenshots/pictures of your receipt are fine! As long as it’s clear that it is a receipt to pre-order Beasts of War, we’re good! PDF’s are not valid entries (this is stated on the entry form).
Q: Which retailers can I preorder from? ANY OF THEM! Amazon, B&N, Bookshop, local indies, Target, Walmart, etc. – as long as you’re a resident in the US and you meet all the legal conditions of entry, your pre-order can be from any retailer.
Q: What formats are valid? Hardback, ebook, audio, any special retailer editions, and any subscription boxes that we can see the book is Beasts of War
Q: My book has been delivered, but it didn’t have the prize: The prizing will be delivered to all valid entries six to eight weeks after the release date and is not connected to the book delivery from the retailer.
Thank you all for being so incredibly supportive of this trilogy! Please send along any additional question to PenguinTeen, who will actually be running the logistics of this campaign.
(And just in case you have read this far… I know I have hinted about what’s next for me after the BOP books. While I can’t say much yet, I can say that the next edition of this newsletter might just be my most exciting yet. :)
